In the area around the B & B Nonna Pia is the master the dialect ASCOLANO, belongs to the group of dialects of northern Abruzzo (called Marche
South), in turn falling in the southern Italian dialects intermediates.

Some proverbs are typical of the dialect Ascoli:

- L'ascula' tira la preta e nascunne la ma' (= Ascoli pulls the stone and hide the hand);
- Ascula', larghe de vocca e stritte de ma' (= Ascoli, easy to talk but to act restricted);
- Ce siende cerqua che l'accetta tagghja!? (= we feel that accepts oak size: I told you?)

- Dagghje, dagghje, la cepolla devenda agghje (= over time and insisting you get results);
- Die e' criate lu menne, l'ascula' se l'e' capate (= God created the world, Ascoli has chosen the best place);
- Chi te loda a tutte fiate, o te freca o t'e' frecate (= Who praises you all to breath, or deceiving you or you already have 'cheated);
- Andre' 'ndro' 'nTrunte e n'escitte tutte 'mbusse (= By Andrea 'in Tronto and came out all wet: tongue-twister).
