From 1878 on Favalanciata
In the heart of the Apennines, on the border of the National Park of Monti Sibillini and Monti della Laga National Park stands the typical village of Favalanciata.
The town's origins date back to around 1200 as a villa Quintodecimo and later as a fief of the order of Malta. Territory always at stake
in the struggles surrounding municipalities reaches its peak in the late 1800s by restoring and expanding the church of San Sebastiano with its Brotherhood.
The building that now houses the B & B Nonna Pia began its construction in 1878 as the new house of the Mattei family also used to host priests of passage,
celebratory lunches and weddings.
Since 2006, after a careful restoration of the interior, taking care to keep spaces and the original components as chestnut floors and vintage items, the structure is
converted into a bed & breakfast for relaxing days and rigenerantive as a starting point for excursions, cultural and even culinary.
